Joseph F. Malmisur YSU Student-Athletes of the Year
Award Criteria
- Anyone can nominate a student-athlete. However, head coaches, communications staff, and sports supervisors will be asked to submit names. The student does not have to be officially nominated to be considered by the committee.
- The committee is comprised of Athletic Department staff, including sports supervisors and communication staff
- Individual and team athletic achievements will be considered as well as other factors including academic accolades, leadership, integrity, and community service
- The student's entire career will be highly considered
- The honor is intended to be received once in a student's athletic career
