Pete and Penny Mascot Appearance Request Form
Have Pete and Penny waddle into your event!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- This form is a request, not guaranteeing an appearance.
- You will receive notification once we have received your request form and we check our availability.
- All Youngstown State events will take precedent over outside requested events.
- Requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the event. We encourage you to make your request as early as possible.
- Requests will be responded to on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Appearances are to be within 20 miles of YSU’s campus. Anything further will incur a charge of $.70 per mile.
- For the safety of our performance team, all appearances are strictly limited to no more than one hour in the suit at a time.
- Ten-minute breaks for the performers must be given each half hour, which are not included in the appearance time.
- Mascot suits are not available to rent.
- Requester must provide a private location for the mascot to change and provide a secure, safe place to store any personal belongings and mascot storage bags (not a public bathroom, closet, public space, etc.).
- Requester must provide drinking water for the mascot during appearances.
- Requester must provide a parking spot close to the event site for the mascot to park if the event is off campus. If there is any charge for parking (meter, parking garage, etc.), the requester is to pay for this in advance and/or provide a parking permit (if applicable to the event site).
- Appearances are limited in duration to one hour, but any showing over one hour will require additional charges.
- Payments must be made at the time of the event or prior to the appearance. Check should be made to The Penguin Club.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any appearance with notice. If payment has been processed, a full refund will be administered.
