Donna Djorovic, a native of Norton, Ohio, where she starred scholastically for Norton High School, is a part of the most successful four seasons that the Penguins have ever posted.
Djorovic, a 6-2 center, helped lead Coach Ed DiGregorio’s “five” to a combined 77-34 overall ledger including the high water mark of a single season when they were 24-4 in 1990-91 and 17-11 last season with a third-place finish in the Mid Continent Conference and postseason tournament appearance, their first in Mid-Con play.
Last season, she started all 28 contests, averaging 13.4 points and 10.1 caroms per outing with a league second best and NCAA Division I top-25, 85 blocks.
For her four-year career, she finished with 915 career points (an average of 8.9 per outing) which places her 11th on the all-time scoring list, hauled in 716 total rebounds (an average of 6.95 per fray) with 196 blocks, 112 steals and 67 assists. Of the 103 games that she played in during her collegiate career, she started 56 of them.
Djorovic, a Psychology major, sports a 3.18 grade-point average. She is a true senior. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dragomir Djorovic.
