2023 (Junior): Competed in two races on the season… Placed 38th at the Bill Lennox Slippery Rock Invitational with a season-best 8k time of 27:14 (10/7)…Competed in the 5-mile Open Race at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, clocking a 27:20.5 (9/29).
2022 (Sophomore): Made two appearances…Named HLXC Runner of the Week and Freshman Runner of the Week on 10/25…Clocked an 8k time of 27:15 at the Bill Lennox Slippery Rock Invitational to finish 28th (10/22)…Competed in the open race at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, finishing with a five-mile time of 27:17.9 (9/30).
2021 (Freshman): Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: Holds individual Geneva High School records in the indoor 400m (52.6) and indoor 800m (1:57.7)...owns personal-best times of 23.5 in the 200m, 49.5 in the 400m, 1:55.46 in the 800m, 4:42 in the 1600m and 17:19 in the 5000m...individually qualified for Ohio indoor and outdoor state championships in 2021...was a four-time scholar-athlete...earned CVC first-team and first-team All-Ohio honors.
PERSONAL: Son of Bill and Alice Hanchosky...Has four siblings - Andrew, Julia, Emma and April Hanchosky...academic interest is chemical engineering.
