The Youngstown State baseball team dropped a 10-0 decision to Wright State on Saturday afternoon at Nischwitz Stadium in Dayton, Ohio.
The league-leading Raiders struck for four runs in the home half of the second to grab an early lead before adding three runs in the bottom of the fourth. Wright State added one run in the fifth and two in the sixth to produce the final margin.
Youngstown State falls to 15-28 overall and 8-10 in Horizon League play while Wright State improves to 20-19 overall and 13-4 in league action.

Travis Perry suffered the loss after allowing eight runs, five of them earned, on nine hits with three strikeouts and three walks over five innings of work.
Nick Perez was responsible for two runs on two hits and a pair of walks in his lone inning on the mound.
Will Shaffer and
Brandon Matthews each came on to work a scoreless inning of relief.
Wright State jumped in front with four runs on three hits and an error in the bottom of the second inning. Zane Harris hit a one-out single and Sammy Sass followed with an RBI double to right center. The Raiders scored a run on an error before Andrew Patrick drove home a run with a sacrifice fly. Julian Greenwell added an RBI triple to give the Raiders a 4-0 lead.
WSU extended its lead to 7-0 with three runs on three hits in the bottom of the fourth. Greenwell hit a two-run home run to right field and Alec Sayre followed with a solo blast to left center.
The Raiders pushed their lead to 8-0 in the home half of the fifth when Gehrig Anglin hit a leadoff double, advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on an RBI groundout by Harris.
Wright State plated a pair of runs on two hits in the bottom of the sixth to produce the final tally of 10-0. Greenwell hit a leadoff single and scored on a sacrifice fly from Anglin before Sass delivered a two-out RBI single.
Greenwell and Sass each went 3-for-4 to lead the Raiders offensively. Greenwell had a game-high three RBIs while Sass drove in two runs.
WSU starter Sebastian Gongora allowed three hits and struck out three batters with two walks in a complete game shutout.
The Penguins and Raiders will conclude their three-game Horizon League series on Sunday. First pitch at Nischwitz Stadium is set for 1 p.m., and the game will be broadcast live on YSNLive.com.
