2020 (Sophomore): Started all 14 games at first base… Tied for the team lead and ranked sixth in the Horizon League with 16 hits in 55 at-bats… Batted .291 and led the Penguins in slugging (.545), home runs (4), RBIs (10), total bases (30) and runs scored (10)… Tied for the Horizon League lead in home runs while also ranking in the top five in runs scored, RBIs, total bases and slugging… Recorded two doubles, seven walks and a .371 on-base percentage… Had at least one hit in 10 of 14 games and had five multi-hit performances… Reached base safely in six straight games at one point… Committed two errors in 122 chances in the field and was credited with six assists… Matched a career high with three hits and a had a career-best five RBIs at Houston (2/15)… Hit a two-run inside-the-park home run in the sixth inning before hitting the go-ahead, three-run blast in the top of the 11th… Hit a pair of singles and scored twice at Houston (2/16)… Singled, walked, scored a run and drove in a run at Abilene Christian (2/29)… Went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and an RBI single while driving in all three of YSU's runs at N.C. 2019 (Freshman): Played in 35 games, 16 of which he started — eight at third base and eight as the designated hitter… Batted .220 and slugged .305 with one double, two home runs and 12 RBIs in 82 at-bats… Recorded 18 hits, six runs scored, 25 total bases, eight walks, a .293 on-base percentage and three stolen bases in four attempts… Committed one error in 20 chances in the field and was credited with 11 assists… Led YSU with a .378 batting average and a .459 slugging percentage in Horizon League play… Registered 14 hits, one home run, 10 RBIs, five runs scored and a .442 OBP in 37 at bats over 16 league contests… Went 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts during league action… Recorded six multi-hit games and three with multiple RBIs… Reached base in seven straight games at one point… Batted .286 with runners in scoring position… First collegiate home run was a solo shot in the second game of a doubleheader at Tennessee Tech (3/2)… Had two hits including an RBI single and stole a base at Northern Kentucky (3/16)… Went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a season-high two stolen bases at Wright State (3/30)… Drove home the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning with a pinch-hit sacrifice fly against Wright State (5/4)… Hit a solo home run and an RBI single while scoring a season-high two runs at UIC (5/11)… Had a season-high three hits and matched his season high with two RBIs against Milwaukee (5/16)... High School: Coached by Steve Norris and Brian Pelligrini at Willoughby South High School... Ranked the 45th-best prospect in the state of Ohio by Perfect Game… Four-year varsity letterman in baseball and a three-year letterman in football… Named team captain… Hit .390 with 35 RBIs in the spring of 2017, which was tops in the region… Played for Force Ohio, one of the premier summer league teams in the state and was coached by Larry Mosley and Josh Bieneman.
Personal: Parents are Dawn and Dave... Younger brother Vince is also a member of the YSU baseball team... Has another brother (Andrew)... Graduated with his bachelor's degree in nursing... Currently enrolled in the Master of Health and Human Services program.
