Orlando, Fla. — Youngstown State bowlers Liv Baskin, Kara Beissel and Amber Mason are competing at the 2026 U22 Queens tournament this weekend at Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
One of the most prestigious youth tournaments annually, the event begins Friday with seven games of qualifying. On Saturday, the field of nearly 100 competitors will bowl seven more games to finish qualifying, and the top 24 will advance to the double-elimination match play portion of the event on Sunday. The stepladder finals will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday.
Baskin and Beissel are the "A Squad", which begins its opening round of qualifying at 9 a.m. on Friday. Mason is in the "B Squad" and will begin her seven-game opening block at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Mason's group will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and Baskin and Beissel will take the lanes at 4 p.m.
