Junior Neeranuch Prajunpanich of the Youngstown State women's golf team has been named the Under Armour Horizon League Women's Golfer of the Week for second time during the 2025-26 season, the league office announced on Thursday.
Prajunpanich, the native of Samut Prakan, Thailand, claimed individual medalist honors to lead YSU to its fourth tournament title of the season at the two-day EKU Colonel Classic, which concluded on Tuesday from The University Club at Arlington.
Prajunpanich earned her third individual victory of the season with a three-round score of 221 (72-75-74). The junior has now set a new program record with her ninth career tournament win. Prajunpanich eclipsed the previous mark of eight career wins, which was previously held by Emily Dixon (2014-16). The junior has now finished in the top five on the individual leaderboard in seven of the eight stroke-play events she has played this season. Prajunpanich's even-par 72 in the opening round on Monday featured 16 pars and a birdie on the par-four No. 6.
Prajunpanich collects the fifth weekly Horizon League honor of her career after earning Golfer-of-the-Week recognition three times as a sophomore in 2024-25. The reigning Horizon League Women's Golfer of the Year has continued her stellar play in 2025-26 after a historic sophomore season that featured an individual title at the Horizon League Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Regionals. Prajunpanich earned spots on the All-Horizon League First Team and the Horizon League All-Tournament Team for the second straight season in 2024-25.
Youngstown State will continue the spring portion of its 2025-26 season on Sunday and Monday when it plays host to the YSU Spring Invitational at Trumbull Country Club in Warren, Ohio.
