The Youngstown State women's tennis team swept the weekly Horizon League Under Armour #HLTennis honors, the conference announced on Wednesday. Julia Marko was named Singles Player of the Week while Marko and Ghada Dirninger were the Doubles Players of the Week.

Marko picked up two more wins at No. 1 singles for the Penguins this past week. YSU picked up two impressive wins beating Bowling Green (4-3) and Western Michigan (7-0). 

Against Bowling Green, Marko picked up a 6-2, 6-4 victory. Against Western Michigan, she had an impressive 6-1, 6-2 triumph.

She is 9-1 at No. 1 singles this spring and 20-5 for the year.

The pair went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles for the Penguins this past week. YSU picked up two impressive wins beating Bowling Green (4-3) and Western Michigan (7-0). 

Against Bowling Green, they won 7-6 (3) and against Western Michigan, they collected a 7-5 victory. The duo is 6-3 this spring.

YSU returns to action on Saturday when it faces Ball State in East Lansing, Mich.
