The Youngstown State women's tennis team makes it's annual winter trip to Las Vegas to play three matches in three days at UNLV's Feritta Tennis Complex.

YSU faces Oral Roberts, Weber State and UNLV in successive days beginning on Friday. All three matches are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Eastern/10 a.m. Pacific time.

The Penguins are 1-1 as they head out west. Youngstown State dropped its season opener to Marshall before beating Miami (Ohio) last weekend. This is the first time during the dual campaign that YSU will head out on the road.

Senior Julia Marko, junior Yoana Dudova and sophomore Lorena Cedeno are currently 2-0 during the dual season. Marko has already posted 13 singles victories so far during the 2024-25 season.

YSU last beat Weber State in February 2022 and has dropped the five all-time matches to Oral Roberts dating back to when both teams were members of the Mid-Con nearly 25 years ago.

The Guins have not defeated UNLV in eight previous matches, but dropped two 4-3 decisions recently.
