East Lansing, Mich. – Four members of the YSU women's tennis team were in action on Thursday and Friday at the ITA Midwest Regionals hosted by Michigan State.
In singles action, Julia Marko beat Eastern Michigan's Andrea Quiroz in straight sets while Lauren Cedeno beat DePaul's Greta Carbone in three sets.
In doubles play, Eliska Masarikova and Yeseniia Ovcharova picked up a win over Toledo.
The Penguins are next in action on Oct. 20-22 at the Cleveland State Invitational.
