The Youngstown State women's tennis team had a busy and successful three days at the Viking Invitational which concluded on Sunday afternoon at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.

YSU won eight of 12 doubles contests and picked up eight singles wins going against Duquesne, Niagara and Cleveland State. YSU swept three doubles contests against Niagara, won two of three against Duquesne and split six doubles tilts against the Vikings.

In singles play, YSU won three of five against the Purple Eagles, three of seven against the Dukes and two of four against the Vikings.

Cecilia Rosas, Jessica Stanmore and Lili Minch each picked up a pair of singles victories.

The Penguins are next in action at the ITA Midwest Regionals which begin on Oct. 20 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
