The Youngstown State women's tennis team returns to fall tournament action this Friday through Sunday at the CSU Viking Invitational hosted at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.

On Friday, YSU will face Duquesne at 10 a.m. in singles with matches in doubles to follow against Niagara (1:30 p.m.) and Cleveland State (2:30 p.m.).

On Saturday, the Guins face the Dukes in doubles at 2:30 p.m. followed by the Purple Eagles in singles at 3:30 p.m.

Sunday's schedule has the Penguins in action against the Vikings in singles play starting at 12:30 p.m.

YSU opened the fall slate earlier this month at the MSU Spartan Invitational. The Penguins had a strong showing going a combined 10-4 in singles play against a strong field.

Cecilia Rosas and Julia Marko both went 3-0 at the Spartan Invite while Lili Minich posted a 2-1 mark. Elisa Rigazio and Jessica Stanmore also won singles contests.

Leading the way in doubles were Marko and Rosas who earned a pair of victories.
