Las Vegas, Nev. - The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to UNLV and a 4-3 contest to Colorado State in a pair of matches on Saturday at the the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
After dropping their opening match to the Rebels, YSU rebounded to play well against the Rams.
The Guins came out and won the doubles point against Colorado State. YSU won a No. 2 and No. 3 to claim the point.
In singles play, Noelly Longi Nsimba picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win over CSU's Priscilla Palermo at No. 1. At No. 4, Imaan Hassim won 6-4, 6-1 against Emily Kolbow. However, the Rams won the other four singles matches in straight sets to earn the dual victory.
The Penguins conclude their trip to Vegas with a match against UC Riverside on Sunday.
