Ann Arbor, Mich. - Noelly Longi Nsimba won three matches and Sofia Macias won twice for the Penguins in action at the ITA Midwest Regionals held at the University of Michigan.

Nsmiba beat opponents from Detroit Mercy, Michgian State and Toledo to advance to the main draw which began play on Saturday. She dropped a hard-fought three-set decision to Northwestern's Alex Chatt by a score of 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.

Macias won twice picking up wins over Cleveland State and Michigan State.

In doubles, Imaan Hassim and Macias won a doubles match over UIC before falling in their second round.

The Penguins are next in action at the Cal State Northridge Invitational on Nov. 10-12.
