High School: Was fifth in the 800-meter run at the Ohio Division II State Championships with a time of 2:15.52 as a senior...finished second in the 800m run at the regional meet...won the district championship in the 800m...competed in the 800m all throughout high school...was a part of 4x200 and 4x400 relay squads...was fifth at the regional meet as a junior and just missed qualifying for the state meet...coach was Jay Cripe...also played volleyball.
