HIGH SCHOOL: Was a first-team All-NBC selection in the 400-meter dash...also a second-team honoree in the 800 meters...set the school mark in the 800m...coaches were Todd Eckle and Jamie Clay...also played basketball.

PERSONAL: Parents are Sally and James Pietrasz...has two brothers...academic interest is forensic science.
