NIU (2011-12): Played in eight games in 2012...credited with four total tackles, including three solo stops...had a fumble recovery against UMass..recorded two stops against Western Michigan..had solo stops vs. UMass and Eastern Michigan...in 2012 Huskies won the Mid-American Conference title and played in the Discover Orange Bowl against Florida State...NIU finished the year with a 12-2 record...redshirted in 2011 after joining the program in January as a mid-year high-school graduate in January.
HIGH SCHOOL: Recorded 112 tackles with five for loss, and two interceptions as a senior...selected to play in Ohio North-South Classic following senior season...one of the top 100 prospects in Ohio (all positions) for 2010...Wayne finished 11-4 in 2010 and won conference and regional championships on its way to a state runner-up finish...in Division I state final lost 35-28 to Lakewood St. Edward...named first-team all-area and all-conference as a junior, as well as team Defensive MVP in 2009...the Warriors went 34-13 during his four years of high school and won the conference title his final two seasons...was a four-time letterwinner...coach was Jay Minton.
