HIGH SCHOOL: Played final year of high school football at Whitmer after playing sophomore and junior years at Springfield in Holland, Ohio...as a senior at Whitmer was an impact player on offense and defense...had 43 tackles, seven pass breakups and two interceptions as a starter in the secondary...on offense, rushed for 665 yards on 60 attempts and scored eight touchdowns...Whitmer was 13-1 in 2011 advancing to the Ohio Division I state semifinals...coach was Joe Palka...was ranked as the No. 60 athlete prospect in the country by Rivals.com...also played basketball at Whitmer and was an all-state pick at Springfield in 2011.
