
Penguins Picked Third in 2026 Under Armour Horizon League Women’s Soccer Preseason Poll

Indianapolis, Ind. – Youngstown State has been predicted to finish third in the 2026 Under Armour Horizon League Women's Soccer Preseason Poll after a vote of the league's head coaches, the conference announced.
The Penguins, who received 103 points, return their top four scorers and 82.8 percent of their goals scored, 66.7 percent of their assists, and 78 percent of their total points scored from that squad.
The Penguins return three of their five all-conference performers from last season. Senior forward Sara Felder, senior midfielder Camille Bultel and sophomore forward Kamryn Rosa all return for the Penguins. The trio combined to score 19 of the Penguins 29 goals and tallied nine of the team's 24 assists last season.
Youngstown State finished third behind preseason favorite Milwaukee (142 points) and Northern Kentucky (119). Green Bay was predicted to finish fourth (102) while Oakland was fifth (93), Wright State was sixth (90) and Northern Illinois was seventh (72).
IU Indy (61), Cleveland State (57), Robert Morris (47), Detroit Mercy (26) and Purdue Fort Wayne (24) round out the final five spots.
Youngstown State opens the 2026 campaign against Pittsburgh, Wednesday, Aug. 12. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Ambrose Urbanic Field.
