Lexington, Ky. – Ainsley Hamsher and Kaitlyn Eger competed in the women's pole vault on Thursday night at the NCAA East Prelims at the UK Track and Field Complex.

In her second NCAA East Prelims appearance, Hamsher opened with a clearance of 3.92m which came on her opening attempt of the meet. She did not advance past the 4.07m bar and placed 33^rd in the event.

Kaitlyn Eger made her NCAA East Prelims debut, but was one of three athletes who did not register a mark.

Sage Vavro competes in the men's steeplechase on Friday night. His race will start just after 6:30 p.m.
