Youngstown State jumper Brayden Green was named the Under Armour #HLTF Athlete of the Week following a standout performance at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Green's meet was highlighted by a career-best leap of 14.99m in the triple jump. His jump in Miami moves him into second place all-time in program history behind Jakari Lomax.Â
Green currently leads the Horizon League in the triple jump while ranking just outside the top 48 in the East Region.
At the meet, he placed fourth in the triple jump and sixth in the long jump.
Green will be in action this week at the Virginia Challenge competing alongside numerous other Penguins. YSU will also send athletes to the SRU John Papa Invitational and select distance runners will travel to the Wake Forest Invitational.
