Eugene, Oregon – Youngstown State senior Hunter Christopher placed 22nd in the 5,000m run on Friday night at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field.
In his final collegiate race, Christopher clocked a time of 13:49.43. He was running in the last men's individual event of the 2024-25 academic year.
Through the first 2,000m the bunch was tightly packed before a group of 11 runners pulled away. Holding onto win the race was Oklahoma State's Brian Musau.
Earlier in the meet, Tye Hunt placed 10th in the long jump.
