Columbus, Ohio – Luke Laubacher picked up a win the 110m hurdles to highlight the YSU men's and women's track and field performances at the Jesse Owens Classic.
Laubacher cruised to win the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.93 seconds. He won the event by an impressive 0.59 seconds.
Kenzy Beckett clocked a personal-best time of 4:36.94 in the 1,500m in the rain on Friday night. That time ranks Beckett sixth in school history in the event.
On Saturday, Owen Brady was third in the steeplechase with a personal-best time of 9:11.61. That time ranks Brady ninth in school history in the event.
The Penguins will next be in action this Friday through Sunday at the Horizon League Outdoor Championships hosted by YSU at the Covelli Sports Complex.
