The Youngstown State men's and women's track and field teams were well represented on the 2025 Valeo #HLTF All-Academic team, the league announced on Thursday.

YSU had four men's student-athletes, and three women's student-athletes earn first-team accolades while another two earned honorable mention accolades.

For the men, Owen Brady, Hunter Christopher, Coleson Kertesz and Lukas Lang were named to the squad while Connor Durig and Trenton Shutters were honorable-mention selections. For the women, Krista Perry, Nia Williams-Matthews and Ainsley Hamsher were selected.

The Penguins are currently competing at the NCAA East Prelims in Jacksonville, Fla.
