Pennsylvania – The Youngstown State men's and women's track and field teams had solid efforts throughout the Keystone on Saturday afternoon and evening at the Westminster Invitational and Bucknell Bison Open

Winning events were Noah Crozier (men's high jump), Ryan Tetrick (men's shot put), Ainsley Hamsher (women's pole vault), Molly Radcliffe (women's discus) and Krista Perry (women's hammer).
Conner Durig was second in a pair of events showing great versatility. He finished second in the 400m with a time of 49.63 seconds and placed second in the high jump with a best height of 2.03m.
YSU took the top four spots in the high jump as Crozier won (2.03m), Durig was second (2.03m) and Nathan Leskovac and Mason Stephens (1.97m) tied for third place. For the women, Kalli Knoble was second in the high jump at 1.58m.
In the shot put, Tetrick won with a throw of 15.46m while Dominic Brown was second at 15.09m, Jaden Kirkwood was fourth at 14.18m and Coleson Kertesz was fifth at 14.15m. For the women, Olivia Mason was second at 12.76m while Lauren Sheehan was third at 12.53m.
In the pole vault, the women took the top four spots led by Hamsher. Hamsher cleared a best of 4.15m while Melana Schumaker was second 4.00m, Gabbi Selman was third (3.75m) and Kaitlyn Eger was fourth (3.75m). For the men, Ian Quarles took second place clearing a height of 4.75m as the event was moved indoors because of the weather.
Radcliffe won the discus with a throw of 46.95m. Kertesz was third in the discus with a throw of 49.64m while Kienan Donovan was fifth at 42.95m. Kertesz also took fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 47.77m.
The women were dominant in the hammer tracking the top six spots. Leading the way was Perry who had a throw of 48.23m while Sheehan was second, Radcliffe was third and Grace Sparks came in fourth.
Additionally, Emily Bee was fifth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08.22.
Bucknell Bison Open Recap
McKinley Fielding set the school record in the 1,500m on Saturday evening. McKinley finished third with a time of 4:26.20. She beat the mark of 4:26.54 set by Nicole Squatrito on May 13, 2022.
In the steeplechase, Jenna Razavi became the third Guin in school history to eclipse the 11-minute mark running a time of 10:59.56 which ranks her third in program history.
For the men in the 1,500m, William Hanchosky ran a personal-best time of 3:59.12 while Josh Jones clocked a personal best at 4:00.23.
YSU is back in action sending athletes to the SRU John Papa Invitational, the Virginia Challenge and the Wake Forest Invitational.
