Akron, Ohio - Youngstown State's Ryan Tetrick and Krista Perry picked up event victories as a select group of YSU throwers competed at the East Coast Throws Festival on Sunday at the Stiles Field House.
Tetrick won the men's shot put college competition with a toss of 15.94m while Perry won the women's discus college event with a toss of 41.83m.
Molly Radcliffe was fourth in the women's discus with a best throw of 47.96m while Coleson Kertesz took second in the men's discus at 50.00m. Additionally, Kertesz was fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 14.73m.
The Penguins are back in action on Friday when they compete at the YSU Collegiate Invitational presented by Southwoods Health at WATTS.
