The Youngstown State men's tennis team was slated to finish second in the North Division this spring in the Under Armour Horizon League Preseason Poll which was announced on Friday.
In the North Division, Cleveland State was picked to finish first garnering 24 points and four first-place votes while the Guins had 21 points and the other first-place vote. IU-Indianapolis was third, NKU was fourth and Chicago State was fifth.
In the South Division, Belmont, Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech all garnered first-place votes.
The 2025Â Horizon League Tournament is set for April 25-27 in Ann Arbor, Mich., at Michigan's Varsity Tennis Center.
The Penguins open their 2025Â dual season on Jan. 24Â when they play host to Radford at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center.
