The Youngstown State men's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to Dayton on a Thursday matinee at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center.
The Penguins fall to 12-4 on the season while the Flyers improve to 14-6.
In singles, Malo Vernejoul picked up a straight set win for the Penguins. He picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles.
The Flyers won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take the point. Dayton won in straight sets at No. 1, No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
Oscar Gippet led in the third set of his match while Dayton led in the second set at No. 2 singles.
YSU returns to action on Saturday when it plays host to Chicago State. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
