The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Buffalo on Friday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center.
In doubles play, Lili Minich and Yeseniia Ovcharova rallied for a 7-6 (2) win at No. 3. The Bulls won the point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2.
In singles play, the Bulls won in straight sets at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 to clinch the point.
At No. 1, Eliska Masarikova picked up a win when at 1-6, 7-6, Buffalo's Jagmeet Kaur retired. At No. 5, Lili Minich lost a tough a 5-7, 6-2, 8-10 decision. At No. 6, Ovcharova dropped a 6-0, 3-6, 6-4 decision.
The Penguins play host to Bowling Green on Sunday at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
