Las Vegas, Nevada – The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a tough 4-3 decision to Weber State at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

YSU won the doubles point and picked up two singles wins in the back-and-forth contest with the Wildcats.

In doubles play, Elinor Beazley and Line Greyling won 6-4 at No. 2 while Lili Minich and Yeseniia Ovcharova also won 6-4 at No. 3.

In singles play, Minich won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5 while Lorena Cedeno battled for a 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 win at No. 4. Weber State won matches in straight sets at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6 singles. The decisive match was at No. 1 singles as Ana Morett beat Eliska Masarikova 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.

The Guins conclude their three-match trip to Vegas on Sunday with a match against UNLV.
