The Youngstown State men's tennis team will send six players to the ITA Midwest Regionals which begin on Thursday in East Lansing, Mich.
YSU is sending Filip Avdeev, Onder Balci, Takamasa Mishiro, William Rassat, Chester Wickwire and Alex Woiten to the multi-day event. Balci leads the team with six wins this fall while Rassat has won four singles bouts.
Match play will be held on Thursday through Monday Oct. 10-14 at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center with matches starting at 9 a.m. each day.
Main Draw Singles and Doubles begin on Friday with finals being held Monday. Qualifying matches begin on Thursday. Parking in Lot 79 and Ramp 5 is available for the event.
This is the first time Michigan State will be hosting the regional tournament since 2021.Â
