Cleveland, Ohio – Youngstown State's Matteo Ceradelli and Chestwer Wickwire had strong performances for the Penguins at the Viking Invitational at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
Ceradelli advanced to the quarterfinals of the singles tournament by winning three contests. He dropped a three-set decision in the quarters on Saturday. Wickwire picked up a pair of wins over Case Western and Duquesne.
The pair posted a 1-1 record in doubles play.
The tournament marked the final matches of the fall for the Guins who will resume play in January.
