Crestview Heights, Ky. - The Youngstown State women's tennis team picked up a 5-2 win at Northern Kentucky on Saturday to remain unbeaten in Horizon League play. YSU won five singles contests to beat the Norse.

The Penguins improved to 7-8 overall and 4-0 in Horizon League play. NKU falls to 9-6 and 2-1 in league play. 

The Guins found themselves down 2-0 after dropping the doubles point and losing in straight sets at No. 5 singles. But YSU won the final five singles contests to claim the win.

YSU won three matches in straight sets and two in three sets. At No. 1 singles, Elisa Rigazio picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win, at No. 3, Eliska Masarikova won 6-4, 6-1 and at No. 4, Cecilia Rosas won 6-4, 6-1 for the straight sets victors. At No. 2, Lili Minich earned a 7-6 (4), 1-6, 6-3 triumph while Julia Marko battled for a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 decision at No. 6 singles.

YSU returns to action on Monday when it plays host to IUPUI. First serve at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center is set for 11 a.m.
