DeKalb, Ill. – The Youngstown State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Northern Illinois at the Nelson Tennis Center on Friday morning.

The Penguins picked up a victory at No. 2 singles as Clement Mainguy rallied for at three-set victory as well as No. 6 as David Alvarez Moreno earned a win. NIU earned three three-set wins in singles at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4.

The Huskies won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles by scores of 6-4 to take the point.

YSU returns to action tomorrow when it faces North Dakota. First serve is set for 6 p.m. Eastern time in DeKalb.
