The Bonnies enter the week with a 2-0-2 record after defeating Niagara, 1-0, and Eastern Michigan, 3-1. Ami Komori leads the Bonnies with two goals and an assist for five points. Chiara Gottinger leads all Division I goalkeepers in total saves (39) and saves per games (9.75). The Pirching am Traubenberg, Austria native currently ranks second in the Atlantic 10 conference with a 93 percent save percentage and two shutouts this season.
About Bucknell
The Bison enter the week with a 2-1 overall record after knocking off Air Force, 1-0, on Aug. 28. Rylee Donaldson leads the Bison with two goals.
Root Gets on the Board
Senior
Maddie Root scored her first goal of the season against Duquesne on Aug. 25. Her goal against the Dukes was her second career goal with Youngstown State.
Penguins Picked Ninth
The Youngstown State women's soccer team was predicted to finish ninth in the Horizon League in preseason poll of the league's head coaches. The Penguins collected 49 points, including one first-place vote while Oakland was picked the win the league with 115 points and five first-votes.
