Youngstown State senior Emma Rigone and sophomores Sara Felder and Maya Naimoli were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Soccer Academic All-District First Team, the association announced on Tuesday.
Rigone, who scored one goal in 2025, was named to the All-League Second Team and was a Sportsmanship Award Finalist. A 2024 CSC Academic All-District selection, she was a three-year captain that carries a 4.0 GPA in nursing, and she has been named to the Dean's and President's Lists all six semesters at Youngstown State. Rigone also plans to graduate as an Honors Scholar with Distinction.
Felder is a member of the YSU Sokolov Honors College and carries a 3.55 grade-point average in pre-med/biology. She posted an impressive second season scoring eight goals overall with three assists for 19 points and posted six scores in Horizon League play. All three of her assists came in conference action, and she total 15 points which ranked tied for fourth in league action.
Naimoli, who owns a 3.68 GPA is anthropology, posted a record of 6-2-2 with four shutouts, 40 saves and a .784 save percentage in league action. She ranked tied for third in saves, tied for third in shutouts, fourth with a 1.10 goals-against average, and fifth in save percentage.
All three players are now up for Academic All-America consideration.
