Bloomington, Ind. - The Youngstown State women's track and field team had three members compete in the NCAA East Prelims on Thursday at the Haugh Track & Field Complex.
Erin Bogard led the way with a 27th-place finish in the pole vault. Bogard cleared a height of 3.96m at the event.
Kyndia Matlock finished 42nd in the 100m in her first trip to the NCAA Prelims. Matlock ran a time of 11.76 second in the event.
Molly Radcliffe placed 45th in the shot put in her first trip to the NCAA Prelims. Radcliffe had a best mark of 14.43m in her three attempts throwing the shot.
YSU has five men's athletes set to compete on Friday throughout the day.
