Berea, Ohio - Nicole Squatrito set a school record in the 1500m run while three members of the YSU men's and women's track and field team won events at the Harrison Dillard Twilight meet on Friday at Baldwin-Wallace's George Finnie Stadium.
Ashleigh Rowley won the 5,000m run,
Anthony Woods won the 100m dash, while
Zach Gray won the discus throughout the event.
Squatrito was third out of 29 runners in a fast 1500m with a time of 4:26.54. In the race, she broke the previous record of 4:28.88 set by Samantha Hamilton on April 11, 2014.
Gray took first in the discus with a throw of 52.08m in a field of 30 throwers. Rowley capped off the evening with a time of 17:29.63 in the 5,000m run to win the event by almost 24 seconds. Woods broke the complex record with a time of 10.20 seconds. The time was just 0.05 seconds off his school record he set on March 25.
Kyndia Matlock ran a time of 11.77 seconds in the finals of the 100m dash to finish second.
