USTFCCCA Rankings
The men's program is ranked No. 11 with 363.35 points, while the women's team is slated 15th with 141.45 points following the release of week four's Great Lakes regional rankings. The men and women have seen as high as No. 7 and No. 13, respectively, on the season.

Both programs continue to act as the Horizon League's highest-ranked teams in the region.

Conference Standout
Tye Hunt was tabbed Nike #HLTF Athlete of the Week for his record-breaking performance at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on April 16 at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium, the league office announced April 19.

Nearly three weeks since his last record-breaking performance in the event at the N.C. State Raleigh Relays, Hunt uplifted his own record of 7.43m (24' 4½") in the men's long jump on his sixth and final attempt during the men's long jump on April 15. Hunt leaped to a 7.68m (25' 2½") for the YSU school record and the event victory. Hunt's mark acts as the league's second furthest jump during the 2022 outdoor season and is the 17th furthest mark on the NCAA East Preliminary qualifying list.

Hunt's selection poses as the second time he has been chosen for the weekly award during the 2022 outdoor season and the sixth time a member of the YSU track and field program has been picked through five weeks of competition.
