Penguins Set to Host YSU Icebreaker Presented By Southwoods Health on Friday

The Youngstown State men's and women's track and field teams are set to open their indoor seasons this Friday when the Penguins play host to the YSU Icebreaker Presented by Southwoods Health at the WATTS. Events are set to begin at 1 p.m. and the meet will follow a rolling time schedule.

YSU welcomes 31 competing universities to Youngstown for the event.  The WATTS is slated to house 55 men's and women's track and field teams, including two fellow Horizon League members (Robert Morris and Cleveland State).

This season, the men's program looks to capture its eighth straight Horizon League indoor championship (ninth overall), while the women hope to secure their seventh straight conference title (12th overall).

Spectator Information: Admission - $10. Parking is available in the 81 Lot or other YSU lots for $5.
