Ann Arbor, Mich. - Four members of the Youngstown State women's tennis team were in action at the ITA Midwest Regionals hosted by Michigan at the Varsity Tennis Center.
In the qualifying singles round, Julia Marko beat Northwestern's Aino Aklio by a 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 score. In the consolation bracket, Jessica Stanmore earned a win over Chicago State in straight sets.
In doubles, Lili Minich and Stanmore earned a win against the Cougars before dropping a match to DePaul.
YSU returns to action next when it competes at the Indoor Toledo Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
