Louisville, Ky. - The YSU men's tennis team had a strong showing at the Louisville Invitational over the weekend winning the C Doubles Flight and earning a consolation win in the F Singles Flight.

In doubles, Laurentiu Mandocescu and Eric Gran won three matches to earn the title at C Doubles. In singles, Gran dropped his first match before winning his final three contests. He defeated Butler's Michael Karr, 6-3, 6-2 in the consolation final.

The Penguins are next in action on Thursday when the begin play at the ITA Midwest Regionals.
