Youngstown State sophomore Onder Balci was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Balci, who was named to the Horizon League's All-Academic Team, recently concluded a campaign where he went 17-12 overall and 11-9 in dual matches. He was a first-team All-Horizon League selection.

An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). They must be a sophomore academically and above to meet the academic criteria.
