Williamsville, N.Y. - Yossi Dahan and Bassem El Mekawi earned singles wins for the Youngstown State men's tennis, but the Penguins dropped a 5-2 decision to Buffalo on Friday.
At No. 4 singles, Dahan picked up a 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 win while at No. 5 singles, Mekawi won 6-4, 6-4. At No. 6, Gabriel Tolesani dropped a tough 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 contest.
The Bulls (7-4) won all three doubles matches to claim the point.
The Penguins (3-8) are next in action on March 8 when they take on Creighton in Orlando, Fla.
