Milwaukee, Wis. - The Youngstown State men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Marquette on Saturday at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium. The contest was the final non-league dual of the year for YSU.
Silviu Mistreanu continued his strong play with a straight set win at No. 3. Misteanu defeated Nick Dykema by scores of 6-4, 6-3. At No. 2 singles, Hugo Morth dropped a three-set decision to Vukasin Teofanovic.
The Golden Eagles (10-8) won the two completed doubles matches and took four singles matches in straight sets. Marquette won at No. 3 doubles and clinched the point with a win at No. 1.
The Penguins (7-10) have a big match on Sunday when they visit Green Bay. Both teams are undefeated in Horizon League play.
