Buffalo, N.Y. - The Youngstown State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Buffalo on Saturday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center in Buffalo. Remi Chancerel and Hugo Morth picked up wins for the Penguins.
In doubles play, the Penguins won at No. 2 as Dawoud Kabli and Victor Pereira picked up an 8-6 win over Damien David and Tony Miller.
In singles play, Chancerel picked up a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 win ovfer Damien David while at No. 2 Morth won in straight sets beating Sebastian Ionescu at 6-2, 6-4.
The Guins dropped three-set decisions at No. 3 and No. 4 singles. At No. 3, Bassem El Mekawi lost 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 while at No. 4, Kabli dropped a 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 decision.
The Penguins are in action next Saturday when they play at Eastern Michigan and Michigan State.
