Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Youngstown State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Duquesne on Saturday night at the Alpha Tennis and Fitness Club. Zeeshan Ismail and Silviu Mistreanu earned wins for YSU.

At No. 1, Mistreanu earned a hard-fought 6-5, 5-6, 10-6 win over Rich Robbie. Ismail picked up a straight-set win over Max Rubin at No. 5, 6-5, 6-3.

At No. 2 singles, Sebastian Hagn dropped a tough 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 match to Pete Carpenter. The Dukes (5-1) won in straight sets at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6. Duquesne has won five consecutive duals.

Hagn and Dawoud Kabli picked up a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles, but Duquesne won the other two matches to earn the point.

The Penguins (1-4) have a quick turnaround playing at Michigan on Sunday afternoon. The dual against the Wolverines is set for 5:30 p.m.
