Toledo, Ohio - The Youngstown State men's tennis team competed against five teams at the Toledo Rocket Invitational. The Penguins played matches against Niagara, Toledo, Wayne State, Saint Francis (Pa.) and Cleveland State.

Against Niagara, Youssef Sharif won at singles winning in three sets. In the match versus Wayne State the Guins won three singles matches as Sharvil Nawghre, Hugo Morth and Dawoud Kabli all won in straight sets. Against Cleveland State, Remi Chancerel picked up a three-set win.

YSU had a strong performance against Saint Francis (Pa.) as Kabli, Albert Masso and Nawghre all won singles matches. 

Select Penguins will next be in action at the ITA Regionals later this month.
