Flory's OT Goals Lifts Soccer Past Robert Morris, 1-0

Youngstown -- Freshman Jade Flory netted her third goal of the season and sophomore Ali Viola posted her first career shutout as the Youngstown State women's soccer team knocked off Robert Morris, 1-0, in overtime on Sunday afternoon.
The Guins improve to 2-1-1 overall while the Colonials fall to 3-2.
Just under five minutes into the extra period, Flory slipped past the Colonial defenders after a well-placed pass from senior Geneva Strelka and blasted a shot into the bottom-left corner of the net. It marks the third straight game Flory has scored a goal.
Viola recorded four saves - all in the second half - to pick up her first career shutout.
The Penguins dominated possession of the ball throughout the game and held a 20-9 margin in shots, including 10 in the first half.
The Guins also attempted 10 corner kicks, including seven in the second half, compared to the Colonials two.
The Guins go for their third straight win when they host Ursuline College, Friday, Sept. 2, at 3 p.m. at Stambaugh Stadium.
